Retirement Downsizing Questions
Can you help my parent downsize before moving to senior living?
Yes. We remove the furniture, household goods, and stored items that won't be making the move, and coordinate donation for usable pieces. You can schedule us before the move to clear space, or after the move to empty what's left in the home.
Do I need to sort everything before you arrive?
No. Set aside anything you're keeping, and our crew handles the rest: lifting, loading, and sorting each load for donation, recycling, and disposal. If you're still deciding on some items, let us know during the walkthrough and we'll plan around them.
How is the price determined?
We come out for a free walkthrough, look at what needs to go, and give you a firm, all-in price before we start. That price covers labor, transportation, and responsible disposal, with no hidden fees.
What happens to furniture and household items that are still usable?
We coordinate with local donation partners so furniture, clothing, and household goods in good condition find new homes. Items that can't be donated are recycled whenever possible. For estates, we can provide a general accounting of what was donated.
